Tears of the Saints

This is a very heart stirring video about the great needs of people around the world.

It is also a video about the greatest need in the lives of men, women, boys, and girls around the world –  the need for a personal relationship with Holy God through personal faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.

” … to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.” (Matthew 25:40)

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

“And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.” (Matthew 24:14)

(“Tears of the Saints” is sung by Leeland.)

Pretty powerful stuff. I was challenged as well as moved by John Pipers word’s

“So count the cost brothers and sisters. This is not an invitation to an easy life.” (John Piper).

Thank you for your comment, Frank.

I think the video provides us with a powerful visual reminder of not only the great needs that exist in our world, but also the great stewardship responsiblities, under God, that we in the affluent West have for loving and caring for the world’s needy.

After I watched the video last night I had my family watch it with me after our family devotion. I’m praying that the Lord will use it in some way to impact my children for God’s glory and the good of others.

On a side note, where are located and do you have a blog? I’d enjoy visiting it if you do.

    Grace and Peace
