The Economy and Milk

I have actually been trying to follow and understand all that has been happening economically on Wall Street, in Washington, and around the world the last couple of weeks. Things like mortgage rates, housing bubbles and home foreclosures, bail-out plans, market plunges, unemployment and underemployment rates and such.

But, I have to admit, I still don’t know much about economics.

I do know what the price of a gallon of gas and milk are today, though, and how much a new pair of sneakers at Wal-Mart for one of the kids will probably cost me.

Main Street kind of stuff.
